Known throughout the world for sports timing, particularly with motor racing, Heuer was responsible for some of the most attractive dashboard clocks and stopwatches ever produced. One such model is the Monte-Carlo Stopwatch, which was first introduced in 1958 and has been relied on by racing drivers and pilots ever since.
During 1967, the two-button model was introduced and in 1976, as with other Heuer models, the case was produced in plastic. Despite the drive towards modernisation, the Monte-Carlo remained a desirable mechanical movement. Featuring a rare “T” marker on the dial and fitted with a mounting plate, this example would make a fine addition to any dashboard.
