Bidders are advised to carefully read through the Conditions of Business prior to participating in the auction. We invite you to contact us should you have any questions or view our FAQ page for further details.

Please note the name or company you use to register under will be noted on your invoice if you are successful, and we can only receive payment from the exact same name or company. Please be aware that invoicing details cannot be altered once the lot is won.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Following a successful purchase at auction, bidders are advised that payment is due in full on or before 17:00 of Monday, 4 August. Payment must be issued via bank transfer. 

The successful bidder will receive a copy of their invoice with payment instructions on Friday, 1 August.

ADDITIONAL FEES TO BE CONSIDERED

Buyer’s Premium
In addition to the final bid amount, a buyer’s premium is due.

15% (+19% VAT) on a hammer price up to €200,000
12.5% (+19% VAT) on any balance over €200,000

Taxes/Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for any applicable duty and/or local taxes on any lots purchased. International bidders are advised to inform themselves of potential import duties that would be due upon the arrival of the lot to its final destination. You are advised to speak with your local representatives in advance of the sale to understand what these costs may be.

POST-SALE COLLECTION

The car is available for collection from Stuttgart, Germany, via prior appointment only and after we have received payment in full. RM Sotheby’s will assist the buyer after the sale.

INSURANCE

Please note insurance is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
