PAYMENT OPTIONS
Following a successful purchase at auction, bidders are advised that payment is due in full on or before 17:00 of Monday, 4 November. Payment is to be completed via wire transfer. The successful bidder will receive a copy of their bill of sale and instructions to remit payment via email on Sunday, 3 November.
ADDITIONAL FEES TO BE CONSIDERED
Buyer’s Premium
In addition to the final bid amount, a buyer’s premium is due on each lot purchased:
Cars:
18% (15% + 20% non-reclaimable VAT) on a hammer price up to £200,000
15% (12.5% + 20% non-reclaimable VAT) on any balance over £200,000
Motorcycles and Memorabilia:
24% (20% + 20% non-reclaimable VAT) on the total hammer price
Taxes/Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for any applicable duty and/or local taxes on any lots purchased. International bidders are advised to inform themselves of potential import duties that would be due upon the arrival of the lot to its final destination. You are advised to speak with your local representatives in advance of the sale to understand what these costs may be. Please note for any car entering the sale on a temporary import bond, an administrative fee of £350 + VAT will be applicable to oversee the customs entry formalities.
LOT REMOVAL/SHIPPING
Memorabilia
All lots are available for in person collection from the sale venue on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 November. Please note we can only accept payment by card and cannot accept payment by cash. From Sunday, 3 November all lots will be removed to our secure storage facility in Wiltshire UK, and can be collected in person via prior appointment only and after we have received payment in full, on the following days only:
Wednesday, 6 November
Thursday, 7 November
Friday, 8 November
We cannot facilitate any third-party courier collections, however our logistics partner Pack & Send will be happy to provide a quote for shipping.
From Saturday 9 November and onwards all lots must be shipped with our logistics partner Pack & Send, with whom buyers will need to contact directly:

Motor Cars
All motor car lots will be removed to secure storage in Chobham UK operated by CARS Europe immediately following the sale at a cost of £550 + VAT per car. Daily storage fees will commence from Thursday, 7 November at a rate of £30 + VAT per day per car, as outlined in the Bidder’s Conditions of Business.
Buyers are required to make immediate arrangements for the collection and transport of purchased lots. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make their own arrangements, but RMS is pleased to offer our clients the services of the following companies for motor car shipping:
