Listing Percy Lambert, the first man to record a speed of over 100 mph; Louis Coatalen, with his 30.1 hp Sunbeam and Malcolm Campbell with his 59.6 hp Darracq “The Bluebird” on Monday 3 August 1914. An exceptionally rare race programme featuring Malcolm Campbell, H.W. Cook, W.G. Tuck, L. Coatalan, G. Watney, and the “SHELL” Aeroplane Handicap listing T.O.M. Sopwith with his Sopwith Biplane. The following day, on 4 August 1914, Britain declared war on Germany.
