The Ferrari Tipo F131 V-8 engine that is found at the heart of this converted coffee table was acquired by the consignor around 10 years ago. It was subsequently transformed into this stunning display table, with the work reportedly taking approximately 600 hours to complete. The inner mechanical components of the engine and gearbox were removed to make the table lighter without compromising design, while the item was polished and lacquered for protection. The intake manifolds were handcrafted in stainless steel, inspired by early-2000s Ferrari Formula 1 engines, and the tempered glass top shaped to resemble the silhouette of a car. A remote-controlled, colour-changing LED light system was also installed, highlighting the intake manifolds and plaque that details the engine’s specification.

In seguito è stato convertito in questo splendido complemento d’arredo, la cui realizzazione ha richiesto approssimativamente 600 ore di lavoro. I componenti meccanici interni del motore e del cambio sono stati rimossi per rendere il tavolino più leggero senza intaccarne il design, mentre l’involucro è stato lucidato e laccato per proteggerne la superficie. I collettori di aspirazione sono stati realizzati a mano in acciaio inossidabile ispirandosi ai motori Ferrari Formula 1 dei primi anni 2000, mentre la forma del piano superiore in vetro temprato ricorda il profilo di un’automobile. Il sistema di luci a LED multicolore con telecomando illumina i collettori di aspirazione e la targa con le specifiche del motore.
