  • One of approximately 152 examples of the EMW 327/2 Sport Cabriolet built
  • Presented in two-tone red and black, complemented by red wheels, burgundy leather interior featuring wood grain trim, plus black folding soft-top roof
  • Delivered to Finland in 1954; acquired by The Munich Masterpieces Collection in May 2004 ahead of a complete restoration

Of the 659 examples of the EMW 327 Sport constructed between 1952 and 1955, it is believed that only 152 were finished as Cabriolets. The 1954 car offered here was delivered to Finland, being registered there in 1956, and it has remained in the country until now.

This 327/2 Sport Cabriolet was eventually taken off the road to take up residence in a barn before the current owner purchased chassis 87727 in May 2004, thereafter, commissioning a complete restoration that lasted for two years. Today, this example presents in two-tone red and black, with the exterior complemented by matching red wheels and a black folding soft-top roof. Meanwhile, the interior is trimmed with burgundy leather and features wood trim. The car is fitted with a 1,971-cc straight-six, like that used in the BMW 327.

Much loved by the consignor as part of a pair, this Cabriolet would be an ideal companion to the matching two-tone 327/2 Sport Coupé also offered as part of The Munich Masterpieces Collection.
